Featured Channels

Changelog

What changed in each version of Featured Channels.

Version 2.0 LATEST

Rebuilt from scratch: a faster extension that looks like Twitch, a website with documentation, and many new features, some of them Pro. Your 1.x settings carry over.

New for everyone

  • A new look that follows Twitch. The list matches each viewer's light or dark mode, can be forced to dark or light, and takes any accent color.
  • Live preview in the settings, for the panel and the video overlay, updating as you type.
  • Drag to reorder channels, or use Alt + arrow keys. Settings are split into tabs: Channels, Appearance, Integration and Customise Overlay.
  • Changes reach viewers instantly, without reloading the page.
  • Follow alerts: when a viewer follows a featured channel through the extension, everyone watching sees a short "just followed!" bubble, with the follower's name if they shared their identity.
  • Bits spotlight (optional): after following, a viewer can use Bits (10, 100, 250 or 500, your choice) to show everyone a highlighted "just followed!" with their name.
  • Live status: a LIVE badge with game and viewer count, and live channels can be sorted to the top.
  • Twitch Teams: feature a whole team and every member is included automatically.
  • Hide follow buttons until a viewer hovers a channel. Clicking a channel still follows it.
  • Overlay layout options: alignment (left, center, right or justify), rounded corners, hidden avatars or links, and a fixed size. The overlay pages through the channels, 12 at a time.
  • Chat message start: choose how the chat announcement begins.
  • 13 languages for viewers, following their Twitch language. The settings page is in English, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, German and French.
  • This website: documentation, an interactive API reference, a privacy policy and terms.

New with Pro PRO

Subscribe to FURiOUS on Twitch with your broadcaster account to unlock these. It helps cover the server costs.

  • Custom theme: your own background, channel rows and Follow button, each a solid color or a gradient, plus text colors and row opacity.
  • Fonts: any Google Font, a separate font for the title and subtitle, and text size.
  • Placed boxes over the video overlay: put a box over each featured channel's spot in your layout, such as a guest's webcam. Viewers click the box to follow. Choose the style, the look (color, text color, border, fill, glow) and what the overlay shows: the boxes, the list or both.
  • Show the overlay on demand: for a while, kept shown, or hidden again, from the settings, chat or a Stream Deck.
  • Deck: a control page for your phone or an OBS dock. Reorder the featured channels by dragging, place boxes by hand over a live frame of your stream, and control the overlay. Boxes belong to slots, so moving a channel moves it to the next box.
  • OBS link: connect the Deck to OBS and link each slot to a source. Moving or resizing the source in OBS moves its box on the overlay. See Deck and OBS.
  • Boxes from code: read or replace the boxes from a script or Stream Deck. See Boxes from code.

Chatbot commands

  • Work with Nightbot, StreamElements or any bot that can call a URL, and also set the team, title and subtitle and control the overlay (show, show on, hide).
  • Replies are plain text, so bots print them in chat. Regenerate the link at any time to revoke the old one.
  • The ready-made commands and the Deck link are in the Integration tab (called Chatbot before).

Upgrading from 1.x

  • Your channel list carries over, and the old purple default colors move to the automatic theme.
  • Open the Integration tab and copy the new command into your chatbot.
  • If you used custom colors or fonts, those are now Pro options.

Version 1.x

The original extension: a panel and video overlay with one-click follow buttons, Twitch Team support and a chatbot command. Version 2.0 keeps that idea and rebuilds everything around it.
